IDD/Autism Respite Care

A Daughter’s Love provides non-skilled respite care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) or autism when attendant support is appropriate to their needs and within the agency’s current Class B license. Respite care can give families and primary caregivers planned time away while the individual continues to receive appropriate personal assistance and supervision within the authorized scope of care.

The specific support provided depends on the individual’s needs, care arrangements, and applicable authorization. A Daughter’s Love focuses on non-skilled attendant care and does not provide behavioral therapy, skilled nursing, medical treatment, or other services outside its licensed scope. Families and referral sources can discuss the individual’s circumstances with the agency before care begins.
